Hello 2013

So 2012 was a pretty good year for me. I got a job, moved to a new state, got to spend lots of time with some amazing friends and learned a lot about myself. But I am happy to say goodbye to 2012 and hello to 2013. This year I will say goodbye to my 20's and hello to my 30's. I am excited to see what adventures this year has in store for me but more excited to see what life as a 30 year old will be like. I expect to learn more about myself and for more amazing things to happen in my life! So hello 2013, I welcome you with open arms!!!

LONDON

Hey Everyone! So it has been awhile since my last post but I did promise a long post about London once I got back. Well I am back and boy did I have an amazing time!! I did not get a lot of sleep during the trip but I am not complaining because I was in London and I loved it!! It did rain pretty much everyday while I was in London, I mean they do not call it dreary London for nothing. haha But the sun did come out for Parade day, which was the only day I really cared that it came out. So yes for those of you who dont know, I went to London with Varsity to work the New Year's Day parade that London holds every year.

We left the states on Dec 26th and landed in London on Dec 27th at about 8am. London is 5 hours ahead of us here on the east coast for those that didnt know. While there I got to go to the Tower of London and see the crown jewels, go on the London Eye, climb to the top of St. Paul's Cathedral, go to Windsor Castle, The British Museum and just explore the city of London. I had a group of about 25 people that I escorted around London. Most of the kids that were in my group had parents but I had 6 without so on our free days we got to play around London together. We def shopped till we dropped but also did some of the fun historical stuff also. I took over 200 pictures on the trip and most people would think I did not have any human interaction while I was there since about 190 of my pics are of buildings and statues. haha But I had an amazing time, met some great new people and got to hangout with some great old friends! I did not spend as much money as I had thought I would, guess thats what happens when you get old, you dont spend the money that you have made. I guess when it was my parents money I was more willing to spend it but not now that I had to work for it myself haha :) I won escort of the day on New Year's Eve which was a great honor!

On New Year's Eve Karen and I dressed in the uniform that the cheerleaders would be wearing the next day in the parade. It was so funny and fun to ring in the new year in London in a cheerleading uniform :) well enjoy some of the pics ( I have one to many to put on here) so I will just share a few!
